feting to the investment of guardians of the proceeds of sales
of real estate belonging to their wards, sold by a Trustee in
Equity, and to re-enact the same.
Which was read a second time.
Also,
The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 2, of Ar-
ticle 37, of the Code of Public General Lawn, title "Evi-
dence," sub-title "Competency of Witnesses," as enacted by
chapter 385, of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1874,
and to re-enact the same with amendments
Which was read a second time.
Also, reported favorably, with proposed amendment,
Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional Section to
Article 30, of the Code of Public General Lawn, title "Crimes
and Punishments," sub-title "Horse Stealing."
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
In line 6, page 1, strike out "maliciously," and insert
"unlawfully."
Which was adopted, and
The bill, as amended, read a second time.
Mr. Hoblitzell, Acting Chairman of the Committee on the
Judiciary, reported unfavorably,
A bill entitled an Act to repeal 'Section 53, of Article 51,
of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Justices of the
Peace," sub-title "Supersedeas and Execution," and enact a
substitute therefor.
The unfavorable report was adopted.
A bill entitled an Act to prevent the erection or mainte-
nance of slaughter houses near public roads or dwellings, in
Allegany county.
Which was considered and referred to the Allegany delega-
tion.
A bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 53, of Article
51, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Public Gener-
al Laws," title "Justices of the Peace," sub-title "Superse-
das and Execution," and enact a substitute therefor and in
lieu thereof.
The report was adopted.
Mr. Snowden moved that the House do now adjourn,
