Photocopy of four small original books bound into one
volume of 115 re-numbered pages; typed index of tract
names and owners of land.

(1) St. Mary's County Rent Roll. 35 originally
numbered pages; contains a record of the rent
due on each piece of land in the county, includ-
ing a short history of the land: proof of rights,
certificates of survey, patents and alienations;
entries are of land patented between 1639 and
1659.

(2) Charles County Rent Roll. 27 originally num-
bered pages; contains same material as (1) above;
entries are of land patented between 1642 and
1659.

(3) Calvert County Rent Roll. 41 originally num-
bered pages, pp. 9 and 37 blank, four p. 24's; con-
tains same material as above; entries are of
land patented between 1642 and 1658.

(4) Isle of Kent Rent Roll. 11 originally numbered
pages; contains same material as above; entries
are of land patented between 1640 and 1658.

Liber 1—Rent Roll Anne Arundel Baltimore No. 1. 283 num-
bered pages; typed index of tract names.

(1) Anne Arundel County Rent Roll. Pages 1-190;
contains entries of lands patented between 1651
and 1746; alienations to 1774.

(2) Baltimore County Rent Roll. Pages 191-283;
contains entries on lands patented between 1658
and 1746; alienations to 1773.

Liber 2—Rent Roll Vol. 2 Anne Arundel Baltimore No. 2. Pages
285-560, being the completion of preceding Liber 1;
typed index of tract names; contains earlier supple-
mentary entries from Baltimore County; alienations to
1771. Re-numbering of pages of this and the preceding
volume, various referrings back and reverse chronologi-
cal order of entries indicate a change from a former
binding arrangement (both in one volume).
