Chapter 41.

 

AN ACT giving the sanction of the General As-

 

sembly of Maryland to the several bequests to

 

the Churches and Charitable Institutions con-

 

tained in the last will of Mrs. Beckenbaugh, late

 

of Baltimore city, deceased.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

 

bly of Maryland, That the sanction of the General

 

Assembly of Maryland be and the same is hereby

 

given to the following bequests to the churches and

 

charitable institutions contained in the last will of

 

Mrs. Ann S. Beckenbaugh, late of Baltimore city,

 

deceased, duly probated and recorded among the

 

testamentary records in the Orphans' Court for Bal-

Evangelical Lutheran Church, situated on North

one thousand dollars; to the vestry of St. Paul's

of Druid Hill avenue and McMechen street, the

 

sum of five hundred dollars; to the General Synod

 

of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in the United

 

States, the sum of five hundred dollars; to the

 

Young Men's Christian Association of the city of

 

Baltimore, the sum of two hundred dollars; to the

 

Female Bible Society of the city of Baltimore, the

 

sum of two hundred dollars.

 

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
