intention to vote for the ratification of the proposed
amendment to the Constitution of the United States; in
like manner the said Committee shall nominate from each
Congressional District, three candidates, and from the
State at large, six candidates, who shall have declared an
intention to vote against the ratification of said proposed
amendment; and in like manner the said Committee shall
nominate from each Congressional District, three candi-
dates, and from the State at large, six candidates, who are
unpledged with respect to the ratification of said proposed
amendment.

(D) That on or before the first day of August, 1933,
the said Committee shall make its selection of candidates
as above provided, and the selections so made shall be filed
with the Secretary of State on or before said date under
the signature of the Chairman and Secretary of said Com-
mittee. The nominations shall be without party designa-
tion, but each certificate shall plainly indicate which of said
candidates have indicated an intention to vote for the rati-
fication of the proposed amendment, which have indicated
an intention to vote against the ratification of said pro-
posed amendment and which are unpledged with respect to
the ratification of said proposed amendment.

SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That in addition to
the candidates nominated by the Committee as above pro-
vided, other candidates may be nominated at any time after
August 1st, 1933, in the manner provided by Section 51 of
Article 33 of the Code of Public General Laws, provided
the petition of nomination be filed with the Secretary of
State not later than twenty days before the day of election.
Each such petition shall plainly state whether the candi-
date nominated thereby has expressed an intention to vote
for the ratification of the proposed amendment to the Con-
stitution or against the ratification of said proposed
amendment.

SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That not less than
eighteen days before the day of election, the Secretary of
State shall certify to the Boards of Supervisors of Elec-
tions for each County and for Baltimore City, all of the
candidates for Delegates at large who have been nominated
as above provided, and to the respective Boards of Super-
visors of the several counties and of Baltimore City, all of
said candidates for whom the voters of said respective
counties or city, will be entitled to vote.
