LAWS OF MARYLAND.

Senate; two hundred Rules and Orders for the
use of the House of Delegates; the above
named Rules and Orders to be printed and
bound in paper; four hundred copies of list of
Members of both Houses; two hundred lists
of Committees for use of the Senate; two hun-
dred lists of Committees for use of the House
of Delegates; fifteen hundred copies of Acts
and Resolutions that may be passed by the
Senate and House of Delegates at the coming
session; the same to be printed on fine white
paper with marginal notes; which copies of
Acts and Resolutions shall be complete and
bound in law sheep; and for all other printing
not herein enumerated, which may be required
or ordered by the General Assembly, or either
House thereof; the price per page of plain or
tabulated work of octavo, duodecimo or folio
work, for one thousand copies, and if more
than one thousand copies are ordered, for each
additional thousand; and the said bids

shall be transmitted to said Clerk on or be-
fore the time specified therefor in said adver-
tisement, together with a bond to the State
of Maryland in the penalty of thirty thou-
sand dollars, with two or more sureties,
conditioned for the due, prompt and faith-
ful compliance with the contract to be en-
tered into when his said bid shall be ac-
cepted, and said Clerk shall on that day, at or
near twelve o'clock, m., of said day, and not
before, open said bids in the presence of such
bidders and other persons as may choose to at-
tend, and award the contract for such printing
to the lowest responsible bidder, who shall
have filed with his bid a bond satisfactory to
said Clerk, who shall be the judge of its suf-
ficiency, and no bid shall be considered by
said Clerk unless accompanied by such bond.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That said Clerk
shall immediately, upon determining the low-
est responsible bidder, award said contract to
said bidder, and notify him thereof, and he
shall within ten days thereafter, enter into
