The board of managers, twelve in number, meet regularly on the
first Thursday in every month, at the colonization rooms, in the
post office building, Fayette street.

Baltimore Female Orphan Asylum.— Incorporated in 1808.
President Mrs. Baynard. Asylum at the corner of Mulberry
street and College Alley.

Benevolent Society for educating and supporting female child-
ren; incorporated in 1799. They commonly have thirty inmates,
who are fed, clothed and educated. This society is attached to
St. Paul's Parish.

Humane Impartial Society, for the employment of destitute
females President Mrs. Pickersgill.

Female Penitents' Refuge.—President, the Mayor, ex officio.
Secretary Rev. S. Williams, (discontinued.)

Baltimore Temperance Society.—President Judge Brice. Seo-
retary F. H. Smith.

St. Andrews' Society.—President D. Williams. Secretary A.
Murdock, six managers. Incorporated in 1816.

German Society—President Justus Hoppe, secretary J. C.
Denter, 12 managers. Incorporated in 1817.

Hibernian Society —President Luke Tiernan, secretary B. U.
Campbell, seven managers.

Under the head of Miscellaneous, we propose to arrange some
other particulars winch we have not found it convenient to intro-
duce in the foregoing pages. We still adhere to the tabular form,
where it is practicable.

List of Courts held in Baltimore City.

Baltimore City Court, for the trial of Criminal Cases.—Sits on
the first Monday in February, June, and October.—Judges,
Nicholas Brice, chief Justice, Alexander Nesbitt and W. D. G.
Worthington, associates.

Baltimore County Court.—Sits for city civil business, 1st of
Januarv, May and September; for county criminal cases, 1st
Mondays in April and November; for county civil do. 2d. Mon-
days in April and November. Equity business for city and
county 1st day of every month, except March and August.
Judges Stephenson Archer, C. J., Richard B. Magruder, John
Purviance, associates.

Orphan's Court.—Judges, James Harwood, Henry Payson,
Benjamin C. Ridgate.

Circuit Court of the United States, for the 4th district of
Maryland, sits at Baltimore on the 8th of April, and the 1st of
November.

Commissioners of Insolvent Debtors.—Francis H. Davidge, Eb-
enezer L. Finley, and S. H. Taggart.
