Respectfully informs the public that he will re-open his Select Institute for Ladies,
on Monday, the 2d of September next.
MODIFICATIONS.
Limited to forty pupils. Lectures delivered on the Sciences at stated periods
through the Sessions. Government mild yet inflexible. Vacation, four weeks in
August.
SESSIONS.
I. From 1st of Sept. to 23d of Nov. | III. From 17th of Fob. to 11th of May.
II. From 24th of Nov. to 16th of Feb. | IV. Fiom 12 May to 4 Aug.—all inclusive
TERMS.
ENGLISH LITERATURE, - - - per session, $ 15 00
Ancient and Modern LANGUAGES, DRAWING, PAINTING,
MUSIC, Vocal und Instrumental, at the usual rates, additional.
Proportionate reductions made for pupils entering after the opening of a session.
Text Books, &,c. furnished, if required, at the customary prices.
With an experience of more than twenty years, as a teacher of both ladies and
gentlemen, with the uniform approvals he has received—the eligibility of his Aca-
demy—the facilities it offers, and with the intention judiciously to promote the ac-
quisition of useful and polite learning, and faithfully to guard the morals of his pupils,
MR. HEY presents himself before the public as a candidate for a portion of its patron-
age—hoping not only to receive, but to deserve its support.
A few pupils will be received as boarders, at $50 per session—tuition included.
