JOHN WESLEY METHODIST EPISCOPAL CHURCH.
Cor. Sharp and Montgomery Streets.

This church is one of the landmarks of South Baltimore and oc-
cupies an important place in the life of the population of this city.
Some of the most distinguished public men have spoken from its
platform. It is known for its forward movements and its observance
of the anniversaries of public men and important happenings, such
as the Proclamation of Emancipation by the immortal Abraham
Lincoln.
