AN AMUSEMENT HOUSE WHICH IS THE EMBODIMENT OF COURTESY
A PLEASURE TO VISIT IT

FIRST RUN SERIALS

The Carey Theater is one of the most commodious and well-appointed amuse-
ment houses for colored people in the city. Every possible courtesy is extended by
the management to patrons. An entire corps of colored attendants is employed
at this theater. Only the very highest grade of pictures is used. The very best
of order is maintained. With gratitude to those who are now our patrons and
with earnest solicitude of the patronage of those who have not yet visited us,
I am,

Very truly yours,
(Advertisement) JAMES C. CREMEN.
