Section of the Legislative Act of the State of Maryland
Authorizing the Appointment of the Board of
Trustees of Morgan State College
Upon the approval of such agreement by the Board of Public Works, it shall
thereupon appoint a Board of Trustees consisting of not more than nine, citizens
of the State, who shall have control of said Morgan College, under the name and
style of "Morgan State College," until such time as the General Assembly shall
provide for the permanent management of said Morgan State College. The said
Board of Trustees shall have full authority and responsibility for the conduct
and management of the affairs of Morgan State College, and shall perform all
the duties and functions and exercise all the powers herein set forth.
