A bill providing for appointment of the trustees of Morgan State College by
the Governor with the advice and consent of the Senate sponsored by the State
administration was introduced in the Senate Thursday by Senator E Milton Altfteld
4th Dist Balto)

Under terms of the bill in which the nine present members of the board are
named the terms would expire one each year from now to 1952 Each of the terms
however will be for nine years

Under original provisions made when the State took over Morgan trustees were
to be appointed by the board of public works until such time as the general assembly
had worked out a permanent method of control

To Have Full Authority

Under the terms of the new law the board of trustees will be given full authority
and responsibility for the conduct of affairs at the college Members shall recede
no compensation for their services

Names of present board members and the dates on which their terms would
expire under provisions of the bill follow
