424 RAIL ROADS——STEAMBOATS.

HAIL ROADS;
PHILADELPHIA, WiLMINGTON, AND BALTIMORE.

The cars, carrying the U. S. Mail, leave Pratt street depot daily at 9 A. M., and ar-
rive at 3 P. M., in full time for the afternoon can to New York.

Night Tram—At 8 P. M. during the winter season, carrying the U. States mail.

Burden car leave the depot, corner of President st. and Canton avenue, daily, for the
transportation of merchandise and commodities generally. A. CRAWFORD, Agt.

BALTIMORE AND OHIO RAIL ROAD.

MAIN STEM, WESTWARDLY—For Cumberland, Hancock, Martinsburg, Harper's
Ferry, Winchester, Fredetick, Ellicott's Mills, and intermediate depots, by the regu-
lar train, daily at 7 1/4 A. M For Frederick and intermediate stations, by extra train,
daily, except Sunday, at 4 P. M.

EASTWARDLY—From Cumberland daily at 8 A. M. From Frederick daily, except
Sunday, ex. train, 8 A M. From Ellicott's Mills daily at 7 1/2 A M., 12 M. and 4 1/2 P. M,

Through tickets are issued between Baltimore and Wheeling respectively, $11, be
tween Baltimore and Pittsburg, $10, between Philadelphia and Wheeling, $13.

WASHINGTON BRANCH—From Baltimore at 9 A. M., 5 P.M., and 11 3/4 P. M. From
Washington at 6 A. M. and 5 1/2 P M. D. J. FOLEY, Agent.

Ticket Office, Pratt street depot. Business Office, 23 Hanorer street.

BALTIMORE AND SUSQUEHANNAH RAIL ROAD.

Run daily, (except the afternoon tram from Baltiimore, and the morning train from
York, on Sunday,) as follows.

Leave Baltimore at 9 A. M. and 3 P. M. Arrive at Baltimore 9 A and 6i P. M.
Leave York at 5 A. M. and 3 P. M. Arrive at York 12 3/4P M. and 7 P. M
Leave York for Columbia 1 1/4 P. M & 8 A.M Leave Columb for York 8 A. M. & 2P.M

Fare to York, $1 50, to Wrightsville, $2, to Columbia, $2 12j, way points in pro-
portion. Through tickets to Harrisburg or Gettysburg, $3.

In connection with the afternoon train at 3 o'clock, a horse car is run to Green
Spring and Owing's Mill, arming at the Mills at 54 P. M. Returning, leaves Owine's
Mills at 6 3/4 A. M. D. C. H. BORDLEY, Supt

Ticket Office, 63 North street.

BEL AIR, CHURCHVILLE, AND HARFORD FURNACE
Via Perrymansville, on the Philadelphia, Wilmington, & Balt. R. Road
Passengers leare the depot. Pratt street, every morning, except Sundays, in the cars,

at 9 o'clock, for Perrymansville, thence by stage, arriving at Bel Air by 1 o'clock.
Fare from Baltimore to Harford Furnace, 75 cents, to Churchville, $1, to Bel Air, $1.
Tickets must be procured at the office before taking seats in the cars,

STEAMBOATS.

GREAT DAILY STEAMBOAT LINE TO THE SOUTH,

Via Norfolk, City Point, and Petersburg to Weldon. or by the Portsmouth

Rail Road to Weldon.

The Baltimore Steam Packet Company's superior steamboats, Georgia, Capt. Can-
non, Jewess, Capt Suttoo, Herald, Capt. Rasiell, leave Spear's wharf, daily, except
Sunday, at 4 P. M., on arrival of mail from the east. T. SHEPPARD, Gen. Agt.

GREAT SOUTHERN MAIL.

Leave Baltimore daily at 11 3/4 P. M , or immediately after the arrival of the cars
from the east. Arnres at Washing (on about 3 o'clock, A. M.
Richmond and Weldon, N. C. to Charleston, and thence, to New Orleans.

WAY MAIL SCHEDULE.

Leave New York at 4 1/2 o'clock, P. M.—Arrive in Philadelphia at 10 o'clock, P. M.
Leave Philadelphia at 8 o'clock. A. M.—Arrive in BaUimore at 2 1/2 o'clock, p. M.
Leave Baltimore at 5 o'clock, P. M.—Arrive in Washington at 7 o'clock, P. M.
For through ticket, apply at the Southern Office, adjoining the Washington Rail
