5. An act to amend Article twelve of the Code of Public
General Laws relating to the payment of specie by the Banks
of this State.

6. An act to amend the fourth Article of the Code of Pub--
lic Local Law, by adding thereto a section vesting in the
Board of Police of the city of Baltimore, all the authority in
said city now vested in a single Magistrate and Constable un-
der the provisions of the sixty-sixth Article of the Code of
General Public Law, in regard to Free Negroes and Mulat-
toes.

7. An act to amend the eighty-third Article of the Code of
Public General Laws by exempting a certain amount of pro-
perty Irom execution.

8. An act to relieve the Mayor and members of the Board
of Police of the city of Baltimore, and all persons who acted
under their orders, in their efforts to maintain peace and good
order, and prevent further strife on and after the occurrences
of the nineteenth of April, eighteen hundred and sixty-one,
in said city, from prosecution for, or in consequence of their
acts of obedience to said orders.

9. An act making an appropriation for the Maryland Pen-
itentiary.

10. An act making appropriation for the payment of the
expenses of the Extra Session of the General Assembly of
Maryland, for the year eighteen hundred and sixty-one.

11. An act to amend the nineteenth section, relating to
Banks, of Article twelve of the Code of Public General Laws.

12. An act to amend the one hundred and fifty-first, and
the one hundred and fifty-fourth sections, relating to the
Schools of Talbot county, of Article twenty of the Code of
Public Local Laws, and to add new sections thereto.

13. An act appropriating one hundred dollars, in payment
of the salary due Thomas A. Mitchell, Sergeant-at-Arms of
the Senate, on the first day of January, eighteen hundred
and sixty-one, as keeper of the Senate Chamber and Commit-
tee Rooms, during the recess of the Legislature.

14. An act to release from the payment of interest, the
sureties on the official bond of Samuel L. Duhamel, collector
of taxes for the first Election District of Queen Anne's coun-
ty, in the year eighteen hundred and fifty-seven.

15. An act to repeal the one hundred and ninety-eighth.
