SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That a fine of not less than one
dollar and not more than five dollars shall be imposed, upon
conviction, for each violation of this Act.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the first day of June, 1916.

Approved March 31st, 1916.

CHAPTER 3.

AN ACT to repeal Chapter 601 of the Acts of the General As-
sembly of Maryland of 1914, entitled "An Act to provide
for a License Tax on Dogs to create a fund to protect the
sheep industry in Garrett County. "

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 601 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland of 1914, entitled "An Act to provide for a license
tax on dogs to create a fund to protect the sheep industry in
Garrett County, " be and the same is hereby repealed.

Approved February 17th, 1916.

CHAPTER 4.

AN ACT to create a new election precinct in Allegany County,
to be known as Precinct No. 3 of Election District No. 8.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new election precinct be and the same is hereby
created in Allegany County, to be known as Precinct No. 3
of Election District No. 8. The said precinct to be taken from
Precinct No. 1 of District 8 and to be described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of District No. 7, and run-
ning with the lines of said District No. 7 to the top of Dan's
Mountain; thence with the northwest side of the top of said
mountain to and on the west of Miller's Farm; thence down
the western slope of the end of said Dan's Mountain to the
water tank on the Western Maryland Railroad, and then to
the nearest point of the Potomac River, and thence with the
meanderings of said Potomac River to the place of beginning
at the southwest corner of District No. 7.
