(Oath of Loyalty)  I AB doe sincerely promise & swear that I will be faithfull & bear true allegiance to their ma’ties King William & Queen Marie. SO HELP ME GOD.

 

(Oath of Abhorrence)  I AB do swear that I doe from my heart abhor, detest & abjure as impious and heretical that damnable doctrine & position that Primates excommunicated or deprived by the Pope or any authority of the See of Rome, may be deposed or murthered by their subjects, or any others whatsoever. And I doe declare that no foreign Prince, Person, Prelate, State or Potentate have or ought to have any Jurisdiction, Power , Superiority, Preminence or authority eclesiastical or spiritual within this realm.  SO HELP ME GOD.

 

(Oath for Commisioners)  You do swear as Com’r for this County of Somerset & Province of Maryland to equall right to the poor as to the rich to the best of your cunning witt & power according to the Laws of England & Acts of Assembly. You shall not debarr or hinder the prosecution of Justice to take any guift, bribe or fee, to the interest of delaying of judgement but shall behave yourself justly & truly to the best of your understanding, so long as you shall persist in this Office, & until you shall be by lawfull authority discharged therefrom.  SO HELP YOU GOD.
