Resolution for the payment of the members and officers :
of the Legislature.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Share be, and he is here-
by authorised to pay to the several members of the
present General Assembly, and the officers thereof, or
to their respective orders, the several sums of money
now due, or that may from time to time become due to
them respectively, and for which they shall obtain cer-
tificates from the chairman of the committee on claims
of the present House of Delegates.

Resolution in favor of the Electors of President and
Vice President of the United States, and Electors
of Senate, and officers.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to the Electors
of President and Vice President of the United States,
for the year eighteen hundred and thirty-six, their se-
cretary and officers, or to their orders; to the Electors
of the Senate for the year eighteen hundered and thir-
ty-six, their clerk and officers, or to their orders, and
to such of the members of the late and present Senate
who attended at the Seat of Government, in obedience
