220 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 128

Tuesday in May, 1920, there shall be a special election held
in the town of Kitzmillersville, which election shall be held in
the same manner and under the same regulations as other
municipal elections held in said town, for the purpose of sub-
mitting the question as to whether or not this Act shall take
effect to all legal voters of said town who are qualified to
vote at a State election, and all ballots at said election shall
have printed on them the words following, to wit: "For
Bonds" and "Against Bonds," and the qualified voters of
said town, desiring to vote on said question at said election,
shall indicate their choice of said propositions by making a
cross mark opposite the proposition for which they desire to
register their vote, and if a majority of the votes so cast are
marked "For Bonds," then this Act shall be in full force of
law, otherwise shall be of no effect. The judges of election
shall, under their hands, immediately after said election, cer-
tify to the Mayor and Town Council of Kitzmillersville the
result of said election.

SECTION 10. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
an emergency law and necessary for the immediate preserva-
tion of the public health and safety, and having been passed
by a yea and nay vote, supported by three-fifths of all the
members elected to each of the two Houses of the General
Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date of its pass-
age.

CHAPTER 128.

AN ACT to repeal Section Q of the Code of Public Local
Laws of the State of Maryland, Article 12, title '' Garrett
County," sub-title "Kitzmillersville," as enacted by
Chapter 285 of the Acts of the Assembly of Maryland
of 1906, titled "An Act to incorporate the town of Kitz-
millersville in District No. 13, in Garrett County, State
of Maryland, by amending the Code of Public Local Laws
of the State of Maryland, Article 12, title Garrett
County,' adding additional sections thereto to be known
as Sections 138A, 138B, 138C, 138D, 138E. 138F, 138G,
138H. 138I, 138J, 138K, 138L, 138M, 138N, 1380, 138P,
