Every conviction of unlawful practice subsequent to a first
conviction thereof shall be a conviction of a subsequent
offense.

11. Nothing in this Article shall be so construed as to inter-
fere with the rights and privileges of physicians and surgeons
duly licensed to practice their profession in this State, nor of
persons holding certificates duly issued to them by the State
Board of Dental Examiners of Maryland prior to the passage
of this Act or of dental students operating under the immedi-
ate supervisions of their instructors in dental infirmaries or
dental schools duly incorporated under the laws of the State
of Maryland.

12. All persons now authorized to practice dentistry in
this State, and those who may be hereafter registered under
the provisions of this Article, shall be exempt from service
as jurors in any of the Courts of this State.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That nothing contained in this
Act, shall prevent, or be construed as in any way to hinder
the prosecution, conviction or punishment of any person who
may have offended against any of the provisions of Chapter
378 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland passed
at its January Session, 1896, or against any of the provisions
of Article 32 of the Bagby's Annotated Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws, entitled "Dentistry," or against any of the pro-
visions of any of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land of which the same is a codification.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the first day of June, 1920.

CHAPTER 482.

AN ACT authorizing and empowering the State Road Com-
mission of Maryland to build, improve and re-locate the
public road between Seneca Bridge and Damascus, via
Woodfield, within the Twelfth Election District of Mont-
gomery County, and the public road beginning at Lewis-
dale and running via Browningsville to the intersection of
the Mount Airy road with the boundary line of Frederick
County in said Twelfth Election District of said county ;
to use funds that may be allotted to Montgomery County
for road purposes by the State Roads Commission under
