place, but only at such times and places as they may find
most convenient; and if a vacancy happens in the vestry
after their election, or any one elected shall refuse to serve,
then the other members shall have the power to appoint a
new member or members, as the case may be, to serve till
the next succeeding annual election.

An Additional Supplement to the act, entitled, An act to
incorporate a Company to make the several Turnpike
Roads therein mentioned, passed at December Session
eighteen hundred and fifteen, chapter one hundred and
ninety.

Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That the name and style of the company incorpo-
rated by the act to which this is a further supplement, shall
be and the same is hereby changed and altered to The Bal-
timore, Roek Run and Philadelphia Road Company, by
which said name and style the said company shall hereafter
be known, and shall and may exercise all the corporate pow-
ers, rights and privileges granted to, or vested in, the said
company, by its original name and style, by the act to which
this is an additional supplement, and the several supplements
thereto, and enjoy, and hold and use, all the property, estate
and effects, acquired, and now owned by the said corporation;
and the president and managers of the said company now
in office, shall be entitled to exercise all the powers vested
in them, and the members of the said company, to continue
tbe succession of the corporation, and of its officers, and the
said corporation shall be answerable for all just claims, in
the same manner, and as fully, to all intents and purposes,
as if the name and style thereof had not been changed or

altered by this act; Provided nevertheless, that the said
company hereby incorporated, shall net have the right to
locate said road on the road leading from Baltimore to Belle
Air, now used as a free county road.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That if the said company do
not pioceed to carry on said work within two years after
the passage of this act, or shall not within ten years there-
after complete the said road, it shall be lawful for the legis-
lature of this state to resume the rights, privileges, liber-
ties, and franchises, granted by this act to said company.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That no dividend shall be
made arising out of the lolls or stock augmented therefrom,
until the whole road be had completed.
