Ohio, who was a Soldier of the Revolutionary War.
Resolved, That the treasurer of the western shore pay to
Thomas Smith, of the state of Ohio, a soldier of the revo-
lutionary war, or to his order, during life, in half yearly
payments, a sum of money equal to the half pay of a pri-
vate, in consideiation of his services during the revolution-
ary war.

John Denoon, of the state of Ohio, a soldier of the revolu-

ments, a sum of money equal to the half pay of a drum-
mer, as a further remuneration for his services during ihe
revolutionary war.

A Resolution authorising the Sheriff of Frederick county,
to discharge Philip Markley from the Gaol of said Coun-
ty, and for other purposes.
Resolved, That the sheriff of Frederick county be, and
he is hereby authorised and directed, to discharge Philip
Markley from gaol, upon the commitment for fine and cost,
for the crime of assault and battery; and that the levy court
of said county are directed to levy the fine, cost and charge,
upon the assessable property of the county,
