Marine Corps of the United States, and directing a sword
to be presented to him;
    11.  Resolutions expressive of the sense of the Legislature,
of the gallant conduct, during the late war, of Joseph
Smoot, of Dorchester county, a lieutenant in the United
States' Navy, and directing a sword to be presented to
him;
    12.   A resolution in favor of the securities of Charles
Jones, late sheriff and collector of Somerset county;
    13.  A resolution in favor of Jonathan Morris, of Washington
county, in the state of Pennsylvania, who was a captain
in the army of the revolutionary war;
    14.  A resolution relating to a fine imposed by Allegany
county court, on Van Dunn, for selling liquor without license,
which after the payment thereof, was remitted by
the Governor and Council;
    15.  A resolution directing the investment in bank stock,
of the money in the treasury due to Montgomery county,
as her portion of the free school fund;
    16.  A resolution in favor of Richard Mackall, late one of
the states inspectors of Tobacco in the city of Baltimore;
    17.  A report and resolution authorising the sale of certain
articles of old furniture in the government house, accompanied
by a list thereof;
    18.  A resolution requiring an annual return to the legislature,
of an inventory of the furniture belonging to the government
house;
    19.  A resolution in favor of Priscilla White, widow of
the late James White, who was a pensioner of the state;
    20.  A resolution authorising an appropriation for furniture
and repairs of the government house;
    21.  A resolution in favor of Sarah Gould, of Dorchester
county, widow of the late William Gould, who was a soldier
of the revolutionary war;
    22.  A resolution requiring the Armourer at Annapolis to
deliver to captain John Carson, of Harford county, certain
arms and accoutrements therein mentioned;
    23.  A resolution providing for the investment of Talbot
county's proportion of the free school fund, now or that
may hereafter come into the treasury, in certain unsubscribed
stock of the state, in one of the banks of the city of
Baltimore;
    24.  A resolution rescinding certain parts of a resolution,
passed at December session, 1828, No. 57, relating to the
