Jessey Rumly	Jessey Rumly An Orphan of his own free Consent is Bound out by
Bound to	the Court here an apprentice according to Act of Assembly in Such
Wm. Nelson	Case provided unto Wm. Nelson of Somerset County Cooper untill
	he the said Jessey should arrive at the age of Twenty of Twenty one

years the said Jessey to Serve his said Master the full term af^d. during which term
the said apprentice his said Master well and faithfully he shall serve his secrets
keep his Commandments Lawfully & honestly every where willingly he shall doe and
in all things as a good and faithfull apprentice he shall Demean himself towards his
his said Master and all his during the term af^d. In Consideration of which Service
the said William Nelson present here in Court in his proper person Covenanteth with the
Justices of the same Court in Court Judicially setting in manner & form following that is to
say that he the said William shall and will during the term af^d. Learn his said apprentice
the trade of a Tight Cooper & read well in the Bible and at the Expiration of his servitude
give him a new Suit of Cloaths over & above his Common wearing Cloaths & likewise find and
provide of his said apprentice meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing sufficient
for such an apprentice to have & wear during the term af^d.
Whereupon the said W^m. Nelson is ordered to give S^ry for to Comply with the Law
Covenants af^d. Thereupon the said W^m. Nelson together with Isaac Atkinson & Geo: Dashiell [Sr?]
of Somerset County Gent. his S^rys all present here in Court in their proper persons Acknowledged
themselves indebted unto the af^d. Jessey Rumly in Thirty pounds Current money of Maryland
on their Bodies goods or Chattles Lands and Tenements Joyntly and Severally to the use
of the said Jessey his heirs and Assigns to be made & Levied if it happen that the said W^m. do not
during the term af^d. Learn his said apprentice the Trade of a Tight Cooper and read well
