His Lordship
@    Somerset fst The Jurors for his Lordship the Right Honrble the Lord Propry that now is for the body of
Negro Peter    Somerset County upon their Oath present that Negro Peter Late of Stepney Parish in the County afd.
Labourer on the xxx day of September in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred Sixty and one with force and
Arms at the parish afd. in the County afd. One pair of Country made Stript Linnen Trowsers of the Value of Twenty pounds
of Tobacco of the Goods and Chattles of a Certain Joseph Hitch of the County afd. then and there being found then and there
feloniously did Steal take and Carry away Contrary to the peace of the Said Propry that now is his Good Rule and
Government and Against the form of the Act of Assembly in Such Case made and provided and So forth

   On the back of the foregoing deed it was thus Endorsed Vizt    Joseph Hitch Jurt.    Ignoramus Wm. Miles foreman

John Crocket    Somerset County upon their Oath Present that John Crocket Late of Stepney Parish in the County afd.
Mariner on the Twentieth day of April in the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and Sixty Two with force
and Arms at the Parish afd. in the County afd. in and upon a Certain John Robertson in the peace of God and the Said
Lord Propry then and there being an Assault did Make and other harms to him the Said John Robertson then &
there did to the Great damage of the Said John Robertson and Against the peace of his Lordship the Right
Honrble the Lord Propry that now is his Good Rule and Government and So forth
