                     August Court                   1761                 96
County as his Guardian which is by the Court here unto him Granted &c. Thereupon the Said Elijah Larramore present
here in Court as afd. Made Choice of the afd. Thomas Larramore as his Guardian Accordingly Whereupon the Said Thomas
Larramore is Ordered by the Court here to take into his Care and Possession the afd. Elijah Larramore and all his Estate
Real and Personall and further it is Ordered that A certain Sarah Larramore deliver up unto the afd. Guardian all the
Estate of the afd. Orphan of Whatsort soever that She hath in her hands and possession and that of Right doth belong to
the afd. Orphan and that the afd. Guardian Give Good Security to Comply with the Law in Relation to Such Guardianship
as afd. and to deliver up unto the afd. Orphan his heirs Exrs. or Admrs. all his Estate Real and Personall that he Shall take
into his hands and Possession Peaceably and Quietly whenever the Same Should be Legally Required &c
   Whereupon the Said Thomas Larramore together with Archibald Richey and James Winright of Somerset County
Planters his Securitys all Present here in Court in their Proper persons Acknowledged themselves Indebted unto the
Said Elijah Larramore in three hundred Pound Curt Money of Maryland of their bodys Goods or Chattles Lands and
tenements Joyntly and Severally to the use of the Said Elijah Larramore his heirs or Assigns to be made and Levied if
it happen that the Said Thomas Larramore Guardian as afd. his heirs Exrs. and Admrs. do not Comply with the Law in Relation
to Such Guardianship as afd. and do not deliver up unto the afd. Elijah Larramore his heirs Exrs. or Admrs. or Guardian or
Guardians all the Estate Real and Personall of the Said Elijah Larramore that he Shall take into his hands and
Possession Peaceably and Quietly whenever the Same Should be Legally Required &c

Hannah Burk    Whereas it Appeared to the Court that the afd. Hannah Burk was much Abused by her Master John
   Bound to    Dorman so that it was thought for the Safety of the afd. Hannah to Remover her from the afd. John Dorman &
Elgat Bird    bind her out to Some Other Person    Thereupon the Said Hannah Burk is bound out by the Court here
An Apprentice According to Act of Assembly in Such Case Provided unto Elgat Bird of Somerset County untill She
the Said Hannah Should Arrive at the Age of Twenty Sixteen Years the Said Hannah to Serve her Said Master the
full term afd. during which term the Said Apprentice her Said Master well and faithfully She Shall Serve his
Secrets keep his Commandments Lawfully and honestly Everywhere willingly he Shall doe and in all things as a good
and faithfull Apprentice she Shall demean herself towards her Said Master and all his during the term afd.
        In Consideration of Which Service the Said Elgat Bird present here in Court in his Proper Person Covenanteth
with the Justices of the Same Court in Court Judicially Sitting in Manner and form following that is to Say that he the Said
Elgat Bird Shall and Will during the term afd. Learn his Said Apprentice to Read Well in the Bible and to Knit Sew &
Spin and Likewise find and Provide for his Said Apprentice Meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing Sufficient for Such
An Apprentice to have and Wear during the term afd.
           Whereupon the Said Hannah Burk is Ordered to give Security to Comply with the Covenants afd. Thereupon
the Said Elgat Bird together with Charles Nichols and Robert Hopkins of Somerset County his Securitys all present here in
Court here in Court in their Proper Persons Acknowledged themselves Indebted unto the afd. Hannah Burk in thirty
Pounds Curt. Money of Maryland on their bodies Goods or Chattles Lands and tenements Joyntly and Severally to the use
of the Said Hannah Burk his heirs and Assigns to be made and Levied if it happen that the Said Elgat Bird do not
during the term afd. Learn his Said Apprentice to Read Well in the Bible and to Knit Sew and Spin and at the Expiration
of her Servitude do not give her do not Likewise find and Provide for his Said Apprentice Meat drink washing
Lodging and Cloathing Sufficient for Such an Apprentice to have and Wear during the term afd. &c

Rizden Bludworth    Rizden Bludworth an Orphan of his Own free Consent is bound out by the Court here an
   Bound to    Apprentice According to Act of Assembly in Such Case Provided unto Robert Hopkins of Somerset
Robert Hopkins    County untill he the Said Rizden Should Arrive at the Age of Twenty One Years the Said Risden
to Serve his Said Master the full term afd. during which term the Said Apprentice his Said Master well and faithfully he
Shall Serve his Secrets keep his Commandments Lawfully and honestly Every where willingly he Shall doe and in all
things as a good and faithfull Apprentice he Shall demean himself towards his Said Master and all his during the
