This Society has been in existence for the last 60 years with entire satisfaction to its members. By it
an insurance is effected without n profit to stockholders, as each insurer is a member, who, in order to
make the insurance, deposits a sum with the Society in proportion to the amount and risk, which deposit
belongs to him. and upon which he pays his proportion of the actual expense of the Society, which is all
the cost of the insurance, as upon the expiration of the policy the deposit is returnable to him should he
Wish to discontinue the insurance, with a dividend of 4 per cent, per annum.
