Lordships behalf and if that in the Mean time he the Same Peter Shall
not be of Good behaviour wherewith the Same Thomas Winn & Thomas
Massey are Content

Ordered by the Court here that the afd Abraham
Ashley Enter into Recognizance with good Security
for his appearance at next Court to Answer unto
what Shall be objected against him on Suspicion
of felony And good Behaviour and that he Sherf of Kent County keep
him the s.d Abraham in Safe Custody untill he Shall Enter as afd
Thereupon Abraham Ashley of Kent County planter present here in
Court in his proper person doth Acknowledge himself Indebted unto the
Right Hon.ble the Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland in the Sume
of forty pounds Sterl money of Great Brittain to be made and Leveyed
of his Goods and Chattels Lands and Tenements for the use of the s.d Lord
prop.ry his heirs and Successors Conditionally that if the Same Abra.m
Shall not make his personal appearance before the Justices of the next Court
to be held for the County afd at the Court house in the Town of Chester in y.e Same
County on the Third Teusday of March next ensueing to Answer unto what
Shall be objected against him on Suspicion of felony and if that in y.e
mean time he Shall not be of of Good Behaviour wherewith the said
Abraham Ashley Doth Acknowledge himself to be Content                also

    Francis Read and Benjamin Griffith both of Kent County afd planters
present here in Court in their proper persons do acknowledged themselves Indebted
unto the Right Hon.ble the Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland
in the Sume of twenty pounds Sterl money of Great Brittain to be made
and Leveyed of their Severall Goods and Chattels Lands and Tenements
for the use of the s.d Lord prop.ry his heirs and Successors Conditionally
that if the afd Abra.m Ashley Shall not make his personal appearance
before the Justices of the next Court to be held for the County afd at the
Court house in the Town of Chester in the Same County on the third
Teusday of March next Ensueing to Answer unto what Shall be objected
