the Lord propry that now is for the body of Kent
County afd upon their Oath Do psent that John
Ambrose of Saint pauls parish in the County afd planter the tenth
Day of Nov.r Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred & twenty seven at the
Parish afd in the County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court in &
upon a Certain John Onwin in the peace of God & of the said Lord
propry then & there being with force & Arms an assault did make
and him the said John Onwin then & there did beat wound
and Evilly Treat so that of his Life it was much Dispeared and
other harms to him then & there did to me great Damage of the said
John Onwin & against the peace of the said Lord propry that now
is his good rule & Dignity &c.a                T francis Cler. pac.

                                    Billa vera         Henry Evans foreman

    And the afd John Ambrose in his pper pson Cometh & Saith that
