We the Jury Do present a Certain Maurice Carty for
for breatking y.e Sabbath by Selling of Drink in
his house at old Town

    And Michael Howard Attorney of the s.d Lord prop.ry Cometh and Saith
that for as much as he hath not Evidence Sufficient to Maintaine the
afd Charge in the presentment afd Specifyed against the said Maurice
Carty he will not prosecute the Same presentment any further Therefore
it is Considered by the Justices here to wit at the Court house in the Town
of Chester in s.d County this fifteenth Day of June Anno Dom. Seventeen
hundred and twenty five that the afd Maurice Carty as to the presentm.t
afd he go thereof without Day and be there found Acquitted  Also it
is Considered that the s.d Maurice Carty pay the Sume of two hundred &
Ninety pounds of Tobacco Costs Accrueing on the premisses afd to the
officers of this Court

acknowledged himself Indebted unto the Right Hon.ble the Lord
prop.ry of this province of Maryland in the Sume of twenty
pounds Sterling money of Great Brittain to be made & Leveyed
of his Goods and Chattels Lands & Tenements for the use of the s.d
Lord prop.ry his heirs and Successors Conditionally that if He the
