ought to be of all others, who venture fortunes with him, to
plant Chriftianity there. An intendment fo full of Chriftian
honor, making men Angels who undertake it, as never more
noble Enterprife entred into Englifh hearts. The Regions
are, Alba ad meffem, to receive the Law of CHRIST:

to inftruct and Baptize them; and at this prefent, fome are in
Towne, who as Eye-witneffes affirme, they faw Meffengers

Felix, China, &c.
The Ayre, ferene and gentle, not fo hot as
Florida, and Old Virginia, nor fo cold as New England, but
betweene them both; having the good of each, and the ill of
neither. On the Eaft fide, it hath the great Ocean, on the Weft
an infinite Continent, reaching to the China Sea. It hath two
goodly Bayes, both rich bofomes of Fifh. The one called.
Chesa-Peack, twelue miles over, betweene two Lands, running
from South to North for one hundred and threefcore miles,
harbourable for Ships of great burthen, full of fundry large
