nineteenth day of June Anno Dom. One Thousand Seven hundred and thirty
three Came the afd Elizabeth Carson and in her proper person appeared
and prayd the afd recognizance taken for her appearance might be disch.d

    Ordered by this Court here that the Same Recognizance might be Disch.d as
prayed  Thomas Carson afd his Recognizance taken as afd for the app.rc
of his wife Elizabeth Carson is by this Court here disch.d as prayed

The Sherrif of Kent County haveing informed
the Court that the afd William being Sumoned in Court to
attend a Pettit Jury ^as a baylif^ in a cause depending at the Sute of
his Lordship against Dennis Long Serv.t to Benj.a
Palmer and that the Same William Refused to do
the same Upon which the Court Orders that the afd William be brought into Court
to Answ.r the Same  Thereupon the Same Sherrif brings into Court the afd William
according to the order of the Court afd And the Same William appearing The Court admonishing
him and M.r Tench Francis ^Clk Indictm.ts of his Court^ informing him how ^un^handsom it was to deny doing
what was required by the Court The Same William Replied in Court to the Same
Attorney and told him the Same Attorney that he had a great deal of Impudence
to talk to him    Thereupon the Court adjudges the same William to be find
for useing such libertys in Court it being to the dishonouring of the Same

    Therefore it is Considered by This Court to wit at the Court House in the
Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in August being the twenty first
day of Said Month Anno Dom. One Thousand Seven hundred and thirty three  That the afd
William Hill be find the Sum of two hundred pounds of Tobacco for his appearance
afd to be paid and applyed towards the use of the free School in Said County and
also pay y.e Sum of two hundred Seventy three pounds of Tob.o fees Accrueing on the
premisses afd to the officers of this Court

    Ordered by This Court that John Gresham Gentl. Sherif of Said County keep the afd
William in Safe Custody untill the fine afd Shall be Satisfied

    Ordered by this Court that John Gresham Gentl. Sherrif of Said County keep the afd
William in Safe Custody untill the fees afd Shall be Satisfied
