    Att a Court held for Kent County at the Court House in the Town of Chester in Said
County on the third tuesday in June being the Seventeenth day of Same Month And
Continued the Eighteenth Nineteenth twentieth and twenty first days of Said
Month in the fifteenth year of the Dominion of Charles Absolute Lord and prop.ry
of the provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &c.a Anno Dom.

    After some business done The afd John Gresham was disch.d of the Sherfs
place and M.r Joseph Young was Sworn Sherf

    And the Said John Gresham Sworn one of the Justices of this Court &
took his place & Setts on the bench and Signed the oath of Abjuration &
Tes.t as by y.e Same may more at large appear by the Record books for the
Courts proceeding

 Recognizance before two Justices of this Court on Suspicon felony
the said John Hall in y.e Same 10s Sterl James Piner and Arth.r Beck
10s Each the Suretys to this Court The s.d John in his proper person
Appeared & prays his Recog.c & his Suretys might be disch.d Ordered
by the Court here the same be Disch.d here appearing as cause to the
Contrary  Thereupon the Said John Hall James Piner & Arth.r Beck on
their Recognizances as afd are afd Disch.d &c.a

    Ordered by the Court here that the Said John Hall enter into Recog.c
for his appearance to Novemb.r Court next &c.a with Suretys Thereupon
comes into Court the said John Hall and Acknowledged himselfe Indebted to
the Right Hon.ble the Lord proprietarie in the Sum of tenn pounds Sterl to be
Leveyed on his goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements Conditionally That if he
the Said John Hall Shall not make his personall appearance at the Next
Novemb.r Court to be held for said County to Answer unto what Should be
charged against him on account of his Stealing Indian Corn belonging to
a Certain Nich.o Neale and in the mean time he is to be of good behav.r
wherewith he acknowledges himselfe Content

    Likewise came into Court Arth.r Barker of Said County Planter and
acknowledges himselfe Indebted to The Right Hon.ble the Lord prop.ry his
heirs & Successors in the Sum of ten pounds Sterl to be leveyed on his goods
and Chattles Lands and Tenements Conditionally that if the Said John Hall Shall
not appear at the next Novemb.r Court to be held for Said County to Answer unto
what Shall be objected against him on account of his Stealing Indian Corne
from the afd Nicholas Neale and in the mean time he is to be of good behav.r
wherewith he acknowledges himselfe to be Content

    Ordered by the Court here that the afd Nicholas Neale as prosecuter
