shall be made to any person other than the holder of a man-
ufacturer's or wholesaler's license under the provisions of
this Act. Every person who shall violate any of the provi-
sions of this Section shall upon conviction be subject to a
fine of not more than One Thousand Dollars, or to imprison-
ment for not more than two years, or both fine and im-
prisonment in the discretion of the Court.

Section 301. All applications for licenses hereunder
shall be filed with, and all licenses issued hereunder, shall
be issued by, the Clerk under all the provisions of this Act
or any amendments thereto.

There shall be several classes of alcoholic beverages li-
censes, each of which shall be issued in the manner, author-
ize the doing of things, and be subject to the conditions and
restrictions hereinafter set forth, and shall be issued by
the Clerk upon the payment of the costs as hereinafter set
forth, and of the license fee set opposite the respective
class or classes of licenses as follows:

(1) MANUFACTURER'S LICENSE.... _... _. ___. _.... _$1, 000. 00

(2) WHOLESALER'S LICENSE... _.. ___..... __....... _.. $1, 000. 00

Except a distributor of light beer or beer
shall pay a license fee of $50. 00

(3) LIGHT BEER LICENSES

B, on sale, hotels and restaurants..... — 50. 00

C, on sale, clubs.................................... 25. 00

D, on sale, generally.............................. 50. 00

(4) LIGHT BEER, BEER AND LIGHT WINE

LICENSES
Class A, off sale.................................................. 35. 00

B, on sale, hotels and restaurants........ 60. 00

C, on sale, clubs.................................... 35. 00

(5) LIGHT BEER, BEER, WINE AND

LIQUOR LICENSES
Class A, off sale.................................................. 250. 00

B, on sale, hotels and restaurants.......... 300. 00

C, on sale, clubs.......... _.......................................... „.. 150. 00

Nothing herein contained shall prevent railroads and
sleeping car companies holding licenses from the State of
Maryland from selling alcoholic beverages thereunder in
Allegany County.

(1). Manufacturer's license. Such license shall author-
