To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:

I, DAVID C. WINEBRENNER, 3D, SECRETARY OF STATE OF
THE STATE OF MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction con-
tained in Chapter 441 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland of 1922, Do HEREBY CERTIFY, That at the Gen-
eral Election held in this State on Tuesday, November 6th,
1934, an Act, known as Chapter 423 of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of 1933, was submitted to the voters of Anne
Arundel County for their adoption or rejection, under the
provisions of Article 16 of the Constitution of the State,
said Act being:

AN ACT to repeal Section 196 of Article 33 of the An-
notated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title
"Elections, " sub-title "Primary Elections, " said sec-
tion relating to the nomination of County Commis-
sioners in Anne Arundel County.

AND I Do CERTIFY, That at said election 2, 519 votes were
cast in favor of the adoption of said Chapter 423 of the
Acts of 1933, and 3, 671 votes were cast against the adoption
of said Act, in Anne Arundel County; and a majority being
against the adoption thereof, it was thereby rejected and
repealed by the voters of said County.
