of by re-writing or typing. For that purpose such records
may be sent to the Commissioner of the Land Office or the
Archivist of the Hall of Records for such period as may be
required for their reproduction; and all expenses of shipment
and reproduction shall be paid by the official or agency hav-
ing the copies made.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That all laws or parts of
laws inconsistent with this Act be, and they are hereby re-
pealed.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

CHAPTER 432.

(House Bill 217)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, sub-section
(b) of Section 39, Article 99 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Water Fowl and Migratory
Birds. Use of Boats Prohibited. Blinds", relating to the
use of decoy, sneak boat or bushwhack rig in certain waters
of Cecil County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That sub-section (b) of Section 39, Article 99 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Water
Fowl and Migratory Birds. Use of Boats Prohibited. Blinds",
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:

(b) The migratory game birds specified in this section may
l>e taken during the open season with a gun only, not carrying
more than three loads at any one time, loaded with shot only
not larger than number ten gauge, fired from the shoulder,
from the land and water, with the aid of a dog or dogs, and
the use of decoys; provided, however, it shall be unlawful to
use more than twenty-five live decoys on any one property at
. any one time. No water fowl, except crippled birds not
otherwise retrievable, shall be shot while resting on water or
land, provided, however, it shall be unlawful to use any air-
plane, sink box or sink boat, sneak boat floating device, or
. any floating device towed by a power boat or a sail boat for
the purpose of hunting wild water fowl, therefrom; provided,
