(6) shall be unable to teach school because of physical dis-
ability or infirmity; and who

(7) shall be without other means of comfortable support,
shall receive a pension of Three Hundred Dollars ($300. 00)
per annum, payable quarterly, from the County Commission-
ers of the county in which the teacher has taught. Provision
for the payment of said pensions shall be made in the next
annual tax levy and in all future tax levies of said Counties.

SEC. 2. And J) e it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

CHAPTER 469.
(House Bill 601)

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 17 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Clerks of Courts",
sub-title "General Duties of Clerks", said new section to be
known as Section 2A and to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 2 of said Article, relating to the recording of discharge
papers of certain persons.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
17 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title
"Clerks of Courts" sub-title "General Duties of Clerks", said
new section to be known as Section 2A, to follow immediately
after Section 2 of said Article and to read as follows:

2A. The Clerk of the Circuit Court in any county, and the
Clerk of the Superior Court in Baltimore City, shall establish
a separate book and record and index therein the discharge
papers of any person who, at any time, has served in the armed
forces of the United States, upon the payment by such person
to said Clerk a recording fee of f 1. 00.

Such record, or a certified copy thereof, shall be admissible
in evidence in any court in this State.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.
