Resolution in favor of Andrew Slicer, as the representative
of Sarah Wyndham.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the treasurer of the western shore, be and he is hereby au-
thorized and required to pay to Andrew Slicer, of the city
of Annapolis, the sum of twenty dollars and eighty-three
cents, being the amount due Sarah Wyndham for pension,
per resolution number forty-two, of eighteen hundred and
twenty-one, to the tilth day of August, eighteen hundred and
forty-one, the day of her death.

No. 28.
Resolutions authorizing John Waring, Tobacco Inspector at
Warehouse No. 1, to have the house repaired &c.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
John Waring, inspector at tobacco warehouse number one,
in the city of Baltimore, be and he is hereby authorized to
contract for such repairs as may be necessary to put the said
warehouse in complete repair.
Resolved, That the treasurer of the western shore, be
and he is hereby required to pay out of any moneys to the
credit of the tobacco inspection fund unappropriated, to
the governor or his order, such sum or sums from time to
time, as may be necessary to carry into effect the aforego-
ing resolution; provided, that no larger sum than fourteen
hundred dollars, be required to complete the repairs of
said warehouse.
Resolved, That the treasurer of the western shore be, and
he is hereby directed to pay the sum of nine hundred dol-
lars, out of the tobacco inspection fund to the governor or
his order, to be appropriated to the repairs of tobacco
warehouse number three, in the city of Baltimore, the said
repairs to be made under the direction of Nicholas Dorsey,
inspector at said warehouse.
