CHAPTER 2.

Passed Dee.
29, 1943.

An act to allow further time to Benjamin T. Pindle, sheriff
of Anne Arundel County, to execute his bond for the
year eighteen hundred and forty-four.

Time allowed.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Benjamin T. Pindle, sheriff of Anne Arun-
del county, be and he is hereby allowed until the thirtieth
day of January, in the year eighteen hundred and forty-four,
to execute his bond to the State, as sheriff of Anne Arundel
county, for the year eighteen hundred and forty-four, and
that said bond, if executed and approved, on or before that
day, shall be as valid and binding on said sheriff and his
sureties, as if executed within the time now limited by law.

Valid.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That all official acts done,
or to be done and performed by said sheriff, after he shall
have bonded as aforesaid, shall be as valid and effectual in
law, as if he had executed his bond within the time pre-
scribed by existing laws.

 

CHAPTER 3.

2, 1844.

An act for the relief of Primary Schools in Anne Arundel
County.

Hear and de-
termine.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Court of Appeals for the Western Shore, be and
they are hereby authorized and requested, to hear and
determine, during their present sittings, a cause in said
court now depending, wherein Thomas Burgess, collector
of primary school taxes, for school district numbered thirty,
of Howard District, is appellant and Arthur Pue, junior, is
appellee, and if the judgement of said court shall be
against said appellant, the said court is further requested in
pronouncing such judgement, to assign the grounds or
principles of their decision, so that this general assembly
