tutes Carroll county,

for the best price to be had, not less than

par, certificates of stock, &c. bearing an

interest of six per cent, payable quarterly,

and redeemable at the pleasure of the State

after 1890, to an amount not exceeding

$663, 196 66, in lieu of an equal amount

of five per cent, stock, authorised to be is-

sued by the act of December session 1838,

chapter 395, and now invested, proceeds,

&c. to be paid over by commissioner to

Treasurer,
