A supplement to an act, entitled, an act empowering the
Commissioners of Harford county, to build a Bridge
over Winter's Run in said county, at or near the
place where the road leading from Gunpowder Neck
in Belle Air, crosses said run, passed at December
session, eighteen hundred and thirty.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Charles S. Sewell, Goldsmith Day,
and Thomas W. Ricketts, be, and they are hereby ap-
pointed commissioners, who, or a majority of them,
shall view and fix upon the site for a bridge over
Winter's Run, at the place mentioned in the original
act to which this is a supplement, and when so deter-
mined on, the some, to report to the commissioners of
Harford county, whose duty it shall be to contract for
and cause to he erected, on the site so selected and re-
ported, a bridge, according to the provisions of the
said original act.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the commission-
ers of Harford county, be, and they are hereby em-
powered and directed, at their next annual levy after the
passage of this act, to levy upon the assessable property
of Harford county, the sum of three hundred and fifty
dollars, and at the next succeeding annual levy thereaf-
ter to levy the further sum of three hundred and fifty
dollars, and cause the same to be collected and paid
over according to the provisions of the original act. to
which this is a supplement, for the purpose of building
and completing the bridge aforesaid.

Maryland, That John D. Ward as former sheriff of
Calvert county, he. and he is hereby authorised to col-
lect until the the first day of January eighteen hundred
