Baltimore City (1949 Edition); or in a case of tenant hold-
ing over or forcible entry and detainer, may be enforced
by said Peoples Court of Baltimore City by way of execu-
tion or attachment, or renewed by scire facias, without
regard to the amount thereof.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect January 1, 1954.

CHAPTER 410
(Senate Bill 141)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 238 to 254, inclusive, of Article
27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition),
title "Crimes and Punishments, " sub-title "Fraud—Itin-
erant Vendors, " said sections relating to the licenses and
other provisions applicable to itinerant vendors in this
State.

WHEREAS, the commission to revise Article 27 of the
Code has made recommendations for the repeal of a
number of obsolete sections; and

WHEREAS, in order to remove inapplicable material
from this Article, it is desirable that all outmoded and
otherwise obsolete sections should be promptly repealed in
order to expedite this phase of the work of the Commission;
and

WHEREAS, the Commission has recommended the
repeal of those sections in Article 27 which concern the
licensing and other requirements applying to itinerant
vendors; now therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 238 to 254, inclusive, of Article 27 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Crimes
and Punishments, " sub-title "Fraud—Itinerant Vendors, "
be and they are hereby repealed.
