Boss, at all times hereafter, to be called and known by,
and hold and use the name of Jerome Boss White, and by
that name, to sue and be sued in any court of law or equity.

An act to confirm a supplement to the act entitled, an act
to aid in the establishment of a female seminary in Fred-
erick city.

Confirmed.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the act passed at December session eigh-
teen hundred and forty-three, chapter forty-eight, entitled,
a supplement to the act entitled, an act to aid in the estab-
lishment of a female seminary in Frederick city, be and the
tame is hereby confirmed.

An act to change the names of Frederick Shaffer Littig,
Catharine Ann Littig, Ann Maria Littig, Rachel Littig,
Hannah Ann Littig, Frederick Shaffer Littig, Junr.,
William Pitt Littig, Julia Dates Littig and Louisa Emily
Littig, of the city of Baltimore, to that of Frederick Littig
Shaffer, Catharine Ann Littig Shaffer, Ann Maria
Littig Shaffer, Rachel Littig Shaffer, Hannah Ann Lit-
tig Shaffer, Frederick Littig Shaffer, junr., William Pitt
Littig Shaffer, Julia Bates Littig Shaffer and Louisa
Emily Littig Shaffer.

ged.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the names of Frederick Shaffer Littig, Catha-
rine Ann Littig, Ann Maria Littig, Rachel Littig,
Hannah Ann Littig, Frederick Shaffer Littig, Junr., William
Pitt Littig, Julia Bates Littig and Louisa Emily Littig, of
the city of Baltimore, be, and the same are hereby chang-
ed to that of Frederick Littig Shaffer, Catharine Ann Lit-
tig Shaffer, Ann Maria Littig Shaffer, Rachel Littig Shaf-
fer, Hannah Ann Littig Shatter, Frederick Littig Shaffer,
junr., William Pitt Littig Shaffer, Julia Bates Littig Shaf-
fer and Louisa Emily Littig Shaffer; and it shall and may
be lawful for the said Frederick Shaffer Littig, Catharine
