CHAP. 156.
Fines forfeited.
|
SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That all fines so forfeited,
shall be paid over by the clerk of Frederick county court
to the successors aforesaid, to be by them applied for the
benefit of the primary school in the school district for
which said delinquent trustees were elected or appointed.

Divorced.

An act to divorce Francis Thomas, from his wife Sarah
C. P. Thomas.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the marriage contract heretofore had and solemniz-
ed between Francis Thomas, of Frederick county, State
of Maryland, and Sarah C. P. Thomas, formerly a resi-
dent of, and at this time residing in the State of Virginia,
be and the same is hereby declared to be henceforth and
forever null and void, and the said parties are hereby
declared to be divorced a vinculo matrimonii.

Levy court to
appoint com-
missioners.
|
An act to authorise the laying out and opening a Road
through a part of Frederick and Carroll Counties.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the levy court of Frederick county and
the commissioners of tax of Carroll county, may and
they are hereby authorised, in their discretion, to appoint
three commissioners, two of whom shall be from Fred-

erick county, and one from Carroll county; but this act
shall be void and of none effect, unless approved of by
the commissioners of tax of Carroll county, and the levy
court of Frederick county; and if it be deemed advisable
by the levy court of Frederick county, and the commis-
sioners of tax of Carroll county, to appoint such com-
missioners; then it shall be the duty of the said com-
missioners to survey, lay out and open the following road,
if in their discretion the public interest required it.
