SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this corporation shall
not be permitted to issue any note, token, device, scrip
or evidence of debt to be used as a currency.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the General Assem-
bly of Maryland hereby reserves to itself the right to
change, alter or annul this act of incorporation at
pleasure.

Corporation

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the said corporation
shall, on the first day of May of each and every year,
pay to the clerk of Baltimore city court, the additional
sum of one hundred dollars, as a license for increasing
the privileges conferred upon the said corporation by the
provisions of this act.

CHAPTER 364.

May make
deed.

An act authorising Elizabeth Roberts, Colored Woman, to
make a deed for a lot of ground in Baltimore County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Elizabeth Roberts, a free woman of
color be, and she is hereby fully empowered and au-
thorised, to make a deed for a lot of ground lying in
Baltimore county, containing about ten acres, willed to
George Roberts the husband, by Walter Perdue, of said
county, in eighteen hundred and twenty-eight.

Valid.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the deed, when exe-
cuted, shall be valid to all intents and purposes, all law to
the contrary notwithstanding.

Not lawful, &c.

An act to protect Game in Baltimore County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That from and after the passage of this act, it
shall not be lawful for any person or persons to shoot or
kill in Baltimore county, between the first day of Febru-
ary and the twentieth day ol September, Partridges,
Pheasants and Rabbits, nor shall it be lawful to shoot or
kill woodcocks between the twentieth day of February
and the first day of June.
