An act entitled, an act to pay the Journal of Accounts.

WHEREAS, it appears by the Journal of Accounts of

this session, that there is due from this State, the sum of
forty-eight thousand, four hundred and ninety-eight dol-
lars and seventy cents,

Preamble.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the treasurer be, and he is hereby authorised and
required to pay to the several persons, their executors,
administrators, assigns, or orders, or to such of them as
shall apply to receive the same, the several sums of mo-
nies allowed to them respectively, as they appear to be
settled and ascertained by the said Journal of Accounts,
out of any money now in the treasury, subject to appro-
priation by the General Assembly.

CHAPTER 558.

Treasurer to

pay.

An act to Divorce Eliza Gibson, of the City of Balti-
more, from her husband, Edmund D. Gibson.

Passed Mar. 9,
1850.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Eliza Gibson, of the city of Baltimore, be and she
is hereby divorced from her husband, Edmund D. Gib-
son, a vinculo matrimonii.

CHAPTER 559.

Divorced.

An act for the benefit of the heirs of Archibald Brown,
late of Carroll County, deceased.

Passed Mar. 8,
1850.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Orphans Court of Carroll
county, be and they are hereby authorised and required,
as soon us may be, after the passage of this act, to ap-
point some suitable person, as trustee, to make sale of
the real estate of said Archibald Brown, deceased,
namely: all the interest he held, at his death, in several
