1811.

are to make sale

of real estate,
and convey to
the purchasers.

Harford county, be, and they are hereby appointed
trustees to sell and dispose of all the real estate of
John Thomas, late of said county, deceased, at such
time and upon such terms as they in their judgment
shall deem most advantageous to the heirs and devi-
sees of the said deceased; and that upon the payment
of the whole of the purchase money, they convey the
same to the purchaser or purchasers; which convey-
ance being duly made, shall be sufficient to convey all
the right, title, claim and interest, of, in and to the said
real estate, that the said John Thomas had therein at
the time of his death, and that the said trustees distri-
bute the proceeds of. such sales amongst the heirs and
devisees of the said John Thomas, in such manner as
by his last will and testament directed.

give bond

recorded and
may be put in
suit.

AND BE IT ENACTED, That the said Willi-
am Pyle and James Thomas, before they proceed to
exercise any of the powers vested in them under the
provisions of this act, shall give bond to the state of
Maryland, in such penalty, and with such security as,
the orphans' court of said county shall direct, for the
faithful performance of all and singular the powers
by this act vested in them; and that the said bond be
recorded by the register of wills for the said county,
which bond, or an office copy thereof, may be put in
suit by any person or persons interested in the per-
formance of the condition of the same; Provided al-
ways,

Sale shall not
be valid unless
approved by
the orphans'
court.

AND BE IT ENACTED, That no sale made by
the trustees aforesaid of the said John Thomas' real
estate, in virtue of this act, shall be good and valid
until the same be approved of by the orphans' court
of Harford county; and in case any such sale shall be
rejected by the said court, the said trustees shall pro-
ceed to sell again, and so from time to time until such
sale shall be approved of by the said orphans' court.

Trustees' com-
pensation.

AND BE IT ENACTED, That the said trustees
shall be entitled to such sum or sums of money for
their expenses and trouble, that they may necessarily
be put to in performing the duties required by this
act, as the orphans' court of Harford county shall
think proper to allow them.
