same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 723
(House Bill 800)

AN ACT to add Section 1561B to the Code of Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County (1953 Edition), being Article 17 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Prince George's
County", sub-title "Washington Suburban Sanitary District", to
follow immediately after Section 1561A thereof, as enacted by
Chapter 38 of the Acts of 1954, said new section also to be Section
130-18-I of the 1953 Supplement to the Montgomery County Code
of 1950, being Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Montgomery County", sub-title "Washington Suburban
Sanitary District", providing for the provisions to be applicable
if the Mayor and City Council of Laurel take action to include the
corporate limits of the town of Laurel within the boundaries of
the Washington Suburban Sanitary District.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 1561B be and it is hereby added to the Code of
Public Local Laws of Prince George's County (1953 Edition), being
Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Prince
George's County", sub-title "Washington Suburban Sanitary Dis-
trict", to follow immediately after Section 1561A thereof, as enacted
by Chapter 38 of the Acts of 1954, said new section also to be Section
130-18-1 of the 1953 Supplement to the Montgomery County Code
of 1950, being Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Montgomery County", sub-title "Washington Suburban
Sanitary District", and to read as follows:

1561B. 130-181. If and when the Mayor and City Council of Laurel
conclude an agreement with the Washington Suburban Sanitary
Commission relating to its water and sewer system and provide in
said agreement that the Town shall be taken into the Washington
Suburban Sanitary District, the Town shall, as of the date of said
agreement, be and become a part of the Washington Suburban San-
itary District and the Washington Suburban Sanitary District is
hereby extended, as of said date, to include the Town of Laurel, as
its corporate limits then exist, as fully and completely as if this Act
had extended said Sanitary District to include the corporate limits
of the Town of Laurel.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1,1955.
