LAWS OF MARYLAND.

to charge and be paid by said County Commis-
sioners according to the rate for recording such
matters now authorised by law, and the re-sur-
vey of such road or roads as established and con-
firmed by the judgment of the said County Com-
missioners, or certified copies of the record thereof,
shall be taken and received as full and sufficient
evidence of the true location of such roads in any
court of law or equity in the State.

Duty of Road

Supervisors.

Sec. 5. And be it enacted, That it shall be the
duty of the road supervisors in said county, to
remove all obstructions from within the limits of
the several public roads in Harford county, at
the cost and expense of the person or persons
who may have caused such obstructions to be
placed therein, if the same shall not be removed
by such person or persons after reasonable notice
being given to him or them by the supervisor to
remove the same.

In force.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 275.

1, 1858.

AN ACT for the relief of Elizabeth Rutledge
and her daughter, and Gist Vaughan, of Bal-
timore county.

Commission-
ers authorised
to levy.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Commissioners of Bal-
timore county, be and they are hereby authorised,
if they, in their judgment, think it just and pro-
per, to levy on the assessable property of Balti-
more county for the relief of Elizabeth Rutledge
and daughter, not exceeding the sum of forty
dollars annually, as long as they, or either of
them, may require it for their support, to be
placed in the hands of Aaron Freeland, for their
especial benefit.

Further levy.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Commis-
sioners of Baltimore county, be and they are
