county court, a description in writing, under their hands and seals,

specifying plainly the boundaries and number of each district; and
also the place in each district where the election for such district
shall be held; and the said clerk shall record the same in the re-
cords of the said county.

Sheriff to
give notice.

4. And be it enacted, That it shall be the duty of the clerk of
Allegany county court, to furnish the sheriff of said county with a
copy of the proceedings of the said commissioners, who shall give
notice of the place of holding the election in each election district
so laid off anew, by causing the same to be inserted in the Cum-
berland Advocate, once a week, for at least one month previous to
holding the election in October, eighteen hundred and twenty-


5. And be it enacted, That for all services performed by the com-
missioners aforesaid, by virtue of this act, the levy court of Alle-
gany county, shall make reasonable compensation; and shall levy
the same upon the county, and the same shall be paid as all other


county charges,
6. And be it enacted, That if this act shall be confined by the Ge-
neral Assembly of Maryland, after the next election of Delegates,
in the first session after such new election, as the constitution and
form of government directs; in such case, this art and the alteration
herein contained, shall constitute and be considered as a part of the
said constitution and form of government, to all intents and purpo-
ses, any thing to the contrary notwithstanding.

An act for the division of the real estate of the heirs or Edward Wilson, and
of the grantees of Lydia his widow.
Whereas, the said Edward Wilson, was in his life time, and at
the time of his death, seized in his dimesne as of fee, of and in all
and singular the following described lands and premises, with their
improvements and appurtenances, that is to say, a farm or tract of
land, situate in New-Castle county, in the state of Delaware, bound-
ed by lands of Isaac Gibbs, William Pierce, and lands late of Tho-
mas Rothwell, containing four hundred acres, more or less: a farm,
or tract of land, situate in the county and state aforesaid, adjoining
lands of Rachel Rothwell, John Zillefro, lands of Robert Ratcliff,
and bounded by a road leading from William Williams' mill, to the
Sassafras and Duck creek road; and by lands of William Williams,
containing one hundred and seventy-six acres, more or less: and a
house and lot of ground, containing about half an acre, situate in
the village of Middletown, in the county of New-Castle aforesaid;
and whereas, the said Edward Wilson, died intestate, leaving his
his widow Lydia and five children, to wit: Mary R. Wilson,
who afterward intermarried with Richard Lockwood, of Cecil
county, in the state of Maryland, Edward Wilson, Sarah A. Wil-
son, Lydia P. Wilson and William Wilson, him surviving: and
whereas, the said Lydia, the widow of said Edward Wilson de-
ceased, by her certain deed of bargain and sale, bearing date the
thirteenth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and eigh-
teen, did release, grant and convey to the above named children
