CHAPTER 1. An act for the benefit of James Duke, Mary Duke and John Broome. Sec 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of Maryland, That James Duke, Mary Duke and John Broome of Calvert county, are hereby authorised and empowered to re- move import and bring into this state within twelve months after the passage of this act, such negro slaves as they removed to the State of Kentucky during the late war, and the increase of said slaves since said removal, and to hold the same as slaves, in the same manner as they might or could have done, had said negroes continued in this state, Provided, the said James Duke, Mary Duke and John Broome register the said negroes, and their issue, in the court of such county or counties to which they may be removed, within three months after such removal.	Passed Dec. 11, 1815. May import slaves. Proviso.
CHAPTER 2. An act for the benefit of George Klink, of Washington county. WHEREAS, George Klink of Washington county, emi- grated to the State of Maryland, and since his emigration and settlement has acquired real property therein, and his title to such property, from his not being naturalized agreeable to the laws of the United States, may be called in question to hit great detriment and injury, Therefore : Sec. 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the title to the real property of him the said George Klink, heretofore intended to be vested in him, the said George Klink, his heirs and assigns, by purchase or deed fairly obtained, be and the same is hereby amply and fully vested in the said George Klink and his heirs, in fee simple to all intents	Passed Dec. 14, 1815.
