ISSUANCE OF A CERTIFICATE, ON A RECIPROCAL BASIS,
TO ANY PLUMBER PRESENTING A MASTER PLUMBERS
CERTIFICATE ISSUED BY A BOARD OR AGENCY OF ANY
SUBDIVISION OR OFFICIAL BODY OF THIS STATE, FOR
THE CURRENT YEAR, WHEN THE STANDARDS OF COM-
PETENCY OR FITNESS ESTABLISHED BY SUCH BOARD OR
AGENCY ARE EQUAL TO OR MORE THAN THE REQUIRE-
MENTS OF SAID BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, AND SUCH
APPLICANT SHALL PAY THE FEES PROVIDED BY THIS
SUB-TITLE AND DEPOSIT THE BOND REQUIRED BY SAID
BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1960.

CHAPTER 117
(Senate Bill 108)

AN ACT to add new Section 9 (49) to Article 81 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Revenue and Taxes",
sub-title "What Shall Be Taxed and Where", to follow immediately
after Section 9 (48) thereof, relating to tax exemption of real and
personal property owned by the Girl Scouts in Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new Section 9 (49) be and it is hereby added to Article 81 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Revenue and
Taxes", sub-title "What Shall Be Taxed and Where", to follow im-
mediately after Section 9 (48), thereof, and to read as follows:

(49). Property, real and personal, owned by Anne Arundel
County Girl Scout Council, Baltimore Area Girl Scout Council,
Frederick County Girl Scout Council, Girl Scout Council of Cum-
berland, Maryland, Girl Scout Council of Southern Maryland, Girl
Scouts of the United States of America, Peninsula Girl Scout Council,
Washington County Girl Scout Council, Wilmington-Area Girl Scout
Council AND THE UNITS OR TROOPS OF GIRL SCOUTS IN
THE STATE OF MARYLAND.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1960.
